Dr Kiran Bedi’s visit to the International Institute of Business Studies (IIBS) Bengaluru on 1 August 2026 became a memorable occasion for the institution. Dr Kiran Bedi attended the IIBS Bengaluru campus as the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony of the PGDM Management Orientation Month (MoM) for the 2026-28 batch. Her presence made the event more meaningful and gave students valuable lessons on leadership and personal growth. 

She also encouraged students to develop qualities like courage, integrity, discipline, responsibility and a clear sense of purpose. She emphasised that these values play an important role in everyday choices and help students to become responsible leaders.

MBA students can choose to study in areas including Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Operations and Production, Entrepreneurship and Startups, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

MBA students also have the option to choose two related specialisations, as IIBS Bengaluru offers dual specialisation. For example, a student can combine Finance with Business Analytics, Marketing with Digital Strategy or Operations with Supply Chain Management. This provides them with broader knowledge and helps graduates to understand or solve business problems from different areas

Building Skills with Professional Certifications

Today, companies look for management graduates who have both academic knowledge and practical skills. IIBS provides certification opportunities linked to platforms and organisations such as SAP, ACCA, HCLTech and Google to help students build the required skill set.
