Goenka Fresh to Supply Hydroponically Grown Vegetables to Roseate Hotels & Resorts

GD Goenka has entered into a five-year collaboration with Roseate Hotels & Resorts. In this collaboration, Roseate Hotels and Resorts will purchase the fresh, organically and hydroponically grown produce from Goenka Fresh for its hotels in Delhi, with plans to extend the collaboration to its upcoming Jewar Airport property. 

It is expected that this partnership between GD Goenka and Roseate Hotels & Resorts will strengthen the connection between agriculture and the hospitality industry. Under this agreement, GD Goenka will supply fresh produce to Roseate Hotels & Resorts two to three times a week. Further, this agreement can expand to the upcoming Roseate luxury properties near Jewar Airport once the hotel opens.

GD Goenka will supply Hydroponically Grown Vegetables, which will include hydroponically grown tomatoes, peppers, herbs, leafy greens, baby cucumbers, zucchini, butternut pumpkin and other seasonal vegetables. The produce will be cultivated in a controlled farming environment, allowing the company to manage growing conditions and maintain consistency in the quality and freshness of the vegetables.

The vegetables will be sent directly to the farm to Roseate kitchens, where they can be used across the hotels’ food and beverage offerings. This reflects the main focus on more responsible and efficient food production. Goenka Fresh’s Hydroponic farming facility uses modern irrigation technology, with an emphasis on nutrient-rich cultivation while using fewer resources.

This collaboration will strengthen the link between farming and hospitality for Roseate Hotels & Resorts. With the growth in this partnership, both organisations will explore “Farm to Guest” initiatives, such as farm visits, digital stories and guest experiences. These activities will help guests understand how fresh produce is grown and how it reaches their plates.

Moreover, this collaboration will also build a long-standing relationship between the two organizations through Le Cordon Bleu at GD Goenka University. This institute has trained the staff of Roseate Hotels & Resorts so that they can complete internships and find placement opportunities at various Roseate properties. This relationship has created a link between hospitality education and the professional hotel industry.
