Chandigarh University Signs Strategic MoUs with Mozambique, Ecuador and Botswana to Strengthen Global Academic Collaboration
For strengthening the international presence and global academic collaboration, the Chandigarh University has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Mozambique, Ecuador and Botswana. The partnerships aim to promote joint research, student and faculty exchange, talent development, technology cooperation and knowledge sharing.
These collaborations will help the students to explore more career opportunities globally and enable Chandigarh University to expand its academic connections in Africa as well as Latin America.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) With Mozambique
The MoU has been signed with Mozambique following a high-level meeting with His Excellency Mr. Armando Pedro Muiuane Junior, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to India.
The University already has an academic collaboration with Wutivi University in Belo Horizonte, Mozambique and under this new agreement, the credit frameworks for the graduate, postgraduate, and master's levels will be strengthened.
This partnership of Chandigarh University will also encourage academic cooperation, knowledge exchange and greater interaction between students and faculty members. This collaboration is expected to provide further opportunities for cross-border learning and academic development.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) With Ecuador
Chandigarh University also signed an MoU with Ecuador in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Fernando Xavier Bucheli Vargas, Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador to India.
The agreement focuses on three major areas: student and faculty mobility, joint research and technology cooperation. Through this partnership, institutions will collaborate in areas such as innovation, research and technical skill development.
The MoU will also help Chandigarh University strengthen its academic engagement with Latin America and provide students and faculty with greater opportunities for international exposure.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) With Botswana
Chadigarh University signed its third MoU with Botswana in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Gilbert S. Mangole, High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana to India. Under this agreement, African students can also avail the Chandigarh University’s Ambassador Scholarship Scheme and Early Bird Ambassador Scholarships

Under the agreement, African students have access to the Chandigarh University's Ambassador Scholarship Scheme and Early Bird Ambassador Scholarships. The partnership will also focus on joint research, technology integration, institutional cooperation and student mobility.
These initiatives are expected to support greater academic exchange between Chandigarh University and institutions in Botswana.
