The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination today, on 4 July 2025. Interested candidates can fill out the registration form today, and after the deadline ends, no new registrations will be accepted. This year’s recruitment drive seeks to fill 14,582 positions across various government ministries and departments.
The deadline for online application fee payment is 5 July 2025, and the application correction window will open on 9 July 2025. This window will allow the candidates to make changes to their application in case they made any mistakes during the form-filling process, and will close on 11 July 2025.

How To Apply For The SSC CGL 2025?
Interested students can follow the steps given below to apply for the SSC CGL 2025 examination:
Step 1: Head over to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: The log-in link will display on the home page, click on the link.
Step 3: Register with the link and initiate the process.
Step 4: After the registration, go for the application on the website.
Step 5: Enter personal and academic details to complete the application.
Step 6: Pay the required application fee.
Step 7: Click on submit and print the confirmation page.
Step 8: Keep a hard copy of the application form and payment confirmation slip for future processes.
To meet the eligibility requirements, candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized institution. The application fee for the general category applicants is set at INR 100, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, as well as women and ex-servicemen candidates, are exempt from paying any application fee. This fee can only be paid through the online mode, by using UPI, net banking, debit, or credit card.
