The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are expected to release the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Answer Key 2025 by 13 September 2025. Candidates who appeared for the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) held from 7 August to 9 September 2025, can soon check their answer keys on the official RRB websites. The answer key will be available for all exam sets.
To download the answer key, candidates will need to log in using their registration number and date of birth. The answer key will display which answers were marked by the candidates along with the correct ones, to help candidates estimate their scores before the official results are announced.
The RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) Undergraduate exam is held to recruit candidates for various posts, including Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Trains Clerk, among others. This year, the RRB NTPC UG exam is conducted for 3445 vacancies.
How to Download the RRB NTPC Answer Key 2025?
Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their RRB NTPC UG answer key:
Step 1: Visit the official RRB regional website or the central portal rrbcdg.gov.in. For reference, I am visiting the RRB Chandigarh website.

Step 2: Secondly, go to the Updates section and select the NTPC UG option.

Step 3: Now, scroll down a little to find the All Notices of CEN 06/2024 (NTPC - Undergraduate) section.

Step 4: In these notices, you will find the active link to the answer key at the top of the list, once it's released.

How to Challenge the RRB NTPC Answer Key?
If candidates find any discrepancies in the provisional answer key, they can raise objections online by simply logging into the official portal. Similar to how you can check the answer key, the notice section also lists other related links and notices. The objection process includes:
Choosing the question(s) to challenge,
Submitting valid reasons and supporting proof,
Paying a refundable objection fee of INR 50 per question.
The objections will be reviewed by the examination authority, and if accepted, the final answer key will be updated accordingly. Using this, candidates can estimate their probable scores. The RRB NTPC Undergraduate results are expected to be announced by October or November 2025.
RRB NTPC UG Score Calculation and Marking Scheme
Candidates can estimate their probable scores by adding 1 mark for each correct answer and subtracting 0.33 marks for each wrong answer. The marking scheme followed for the exam is as follows:
Each correct answer will earn 1 mark.
For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd (0.33) marks will be deducted.
No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
