GMAC is set to close the registration process for the NMAT 2025 exam on 10 October 2025. GMAC has also notified that the scheduling process of the exam will conclude on 14 October 2025 few days after the closing of the registration. Applicants who are looking to register for the NMAT can visit the official website and register.
The NMAT 2025 exam is a popular test for students who want to join one of the top business schools in India and is accepted by more than 50 B-schools in India. It is conducted by GMAC and allows candidates to choose their own exam date and time. This year, the exam is set to occur from 5 November 2025 to 19 December 2025.
The test has three sections, and each section is timed. The total duration of the NMAT exam is 2 hours. Students can take the exam up to three times during the testing window, and the best score is considered for admission. Registration for it started on 1 August 2025. The admit card for the exam will be released 48 hours before the scheduled exam slot.

NMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for NMAT 2025 are decided by GMAC, and it is mentioned below in detail.
Applicant must have a graduate degree from a government-recognised university
Minimum 50 per cent marks required in graduation
Final year students can also apply but their admission will be provisional
There is no age restriction to take the exam
Work experience is not mandatory but it may be preferred by some B-schools

Steps To Register For the NMAT 2025 Exam
Step 1- To register for NMAT 2025, visit the website of GMAC and register there by entering details like email address, mobile number, etc.
Step 2- Complete the email verification process initiated by GMAC.
Step 3- After completing the verification process, the candidate will have to complete the registration process by filling in the personal, educational, and other important details.
Step 4- Upload all the necessary documents, like educational certificates etc on the portal in the prescribed format.
Step 5- Applicants are also required to choose up to 5 institute preferences in which they want to take admission.
Step 6- Cross-check all the details filled and click on the submit button to complete the registration process.
Step 7- Download the finally submitted application form and also take out a hard copy of it.
What Happens After The Closing of the NMAT 2025 Registration Window?
After the NMAT 2025 registration window closes, candidates can no longer apply for it. Those who have registered will be able to take their exam according to schedule. Admit cards will be released a few days before the exam slot. It is recommended that candidates check their email and NMAT account for regular updates.
