NEET UG Counseling 2025 Live Updates: Round 1 Registration Started Today, Key Details Here

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for NEET UG round 1 counseling today, 21 July 2025. Candidates who are interested in taking part in the process can register themselves at the official MCC website. This counseling process is being conducted for admission into programs like Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), MBBS, and BSc Nursing across various government medical and dental colleges.

This NEET UG counseling process will be conducted entirely in the online mode, including processes like registration, choice filling, and seat allotment. The MCC conducts the counseling process for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical colleges. It also manages 100% of the seats in central and deemed-to-be universities such as BHU, DU, Jamia Millia Islamia, AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, ESIC, and AFMC.

How To Apply For NEET UG 2025 Counseling?

Candidates must follow the steps given below to register for the NEET UG counseling at the MCC website:

Step 1: Visit the official MCC website (mcc.nic.in).

Step 2: Search for the counseling process section and select ‘new registration’ to create a profile.

Step 3: Fill in the NEET UG 2025 roll number, application number, and other personal information in the given fields.

Step 4: Pay the non-refundable counseling registration fee along with the refundable security deposit.

Step 5: Select the preferred colleges and courses by filling in the choices. Make sure to lock the choices before the deadline (by 4 PM on July 28, 2025).

Step 6: If allotted a seat, physically report to the assigned college on the specified dates for the document verification process.
