DU UG Spot Round 1 Allotment Results Out Today on 28 August: Check More Details Here

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the schedule for the Spot Round 1 admissions for undergraduate (UG) courses. Today, on 28 August 2025, it will release the seat allotment results for all registered candidates. The registration process for the vacant seats started on 25 August 2025. Students whose names are not on the other merit list can now appear for the spot registration. The university also released the vacant seat list, so students can easily view whether seats are available or not. During this process, students will not be able to upgrade or withdraw their seats. 

Candidates appearing for the spot round 1 registration need to know the following details of all the upcoming events- 

• Vacant Seats Display: The list of vacant seats was published on 25 August on the official DU admission portal. 

• Application Window: Candidates could apply for the Spot Round 1 on 27 August 2025 till 05:00 PM through their DU IQ Dashboard. It is advised to fill early. 

• Declaration of Allotments: The first allocation of seats in the spot round will be declared at 5:00 PM on 28 August 2025 for all vacant seats. 

• College Verification: The university will verify and approve the online admissions from 5:00 PM on Thursday, 28 August, until 11:59 PM on 29 August 2025. 

• Acceptance of Seat: Candidates allotted a seat must confirm their acceptance by 4:59 PM on Friday, 29 August 2025 by locking their seats.

• Fee Payment Deadline: All candidates are required to complete the online payment of admission fees and course by 4:59 PM on 30 August 2025. This is important and last step for the admission process. 

According to the Latest DU updates total of 68116 students have secured their seats in the 2nd round of upgradation.
