BITS Pilani has officially announced the launch of its futuristic AI+ Campus in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of approximately INR 1,000 crore. This campus will span 35 acres and offer undergraduate twinning programs, doctoral degrees, and master’s courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Innovation, and Strategy to its students. Development will occur in two phases, where Phase 1 will accommodate 3,000 students by 2027, meanwhile Phase 2 will expand capacity to 7,000+ students in their AI+ campus. Alongside, BITS unveiled Project Vistaar, an INR 1,219 crore initiative to upgrade its Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses for the students. It also launched BITS Pilani Digital, an EdTech platform, so that it can reach 1 lakh learners through 32 programs in 5 years.
