The University of Delhi has released the timeline for the third round of seat allocations for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic year 2025-26. The round features significant dates for upgrading of seats, mid-entry, and confirmation of admissions for different UG programs. Those candidates who were given seats under Round 1 or Round 2 can apply for seat upgradation if they desire a seat better than what they have been given, considering their higher preferences.
The window to do so opened on August 2 at 5 PM and will stay open until August 3 at 4:59 PM. The outcome of the revised seat allotments will be out on August 5 at 5 PM, and these will be accepted automatically. Colleges then have to confirm and approve the admissions by August 6 at 4:59 PM. The candidates should deposit their admission fee by August 7 at 4:59 PM to secure their seats.
Mid-Entry Option
The university will issue the list of vacant seats on August 8 at 5 PM. From that date until August 10 at 4:59 PM, there will be a mid-entry possibility for those candidates who missed applying in the previous rounds or were unable to finalize their admission process. This option will cost a non-refundable amount of ₹1,000. Only those candidates who had previously been rejected on account of mapping faults or suitability can edit their preferences during these days. The preferences received by August 10 at 4:59 PM will be taken into account for the third round of seat allocation.
Third Round Seat Allocation
The seat allotment for the third round will be made on the basis of information available up to 5 PM on August 10. The outcome will be announced on August 13 at 5 PM and will consist of general seats and seats under the Children/Widows of Defence Personnel (CW), Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA), and Sports quotas. Separate results for CW, ECA, and Sports Quota Round 1 will be declared on August 15.
Candidates who are allotted seats in the third round need to confirm their seats from August 13 through August 17. Colleges will confirm these admissions by August 18. The payment of the admission fee for the third round has to be made on or before August 19 at 4:59 PM.
The University of Delhi recommends that all applicants visit the official admission website at admission.uod.ac.in. for the most recent information at regular intervals. No complaints or corrections of data or preferences received prior to August 10 will be entertained after that date.
