CAT 2025 Registrations to Begin in August: Official Notification to be Out Soon

The CAT 2025 registration process is expected to start in August 2025. Aspirants will be able to download the official notification and register for the examination on the official website of IIM 2025. CAT 2025 is a national-level examination conducted to select candidates for admission to top MBA colleges such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, FMS Delhi, etc. This year, it is being conducted by IIM Kozhikode and will be held on 30 November 2025.
It's a 2-hour examination divided into multiple sections like Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will get 40 minutes to attempt each section and answer the MCQ and non-MCQ questions present in the paper.
Candidates are required to follow the steps mentioned below to register for the upcoming CAT 2025, which is scheduled to be held on 30 November 2025, to select candidates for participating management institutes.
Step 1. Candidates need to head to the official website of CAT 2025 at iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2. Go to the “New Registrations” section of the website.
Step 3. Enter the candidate’s personal details, such as their name, DOB, e-mail ID, and phone number.
Step 4. Once all the details are processed, candidates will receive an ID.
Step 5. Log in using the details provided in the new ID.
Step 6. Fill the application form with the required details, such as the candidate’s board results, father’s name, mother’s name, address, etc.
Step 7. Upload the required documents, such as the candidate’s passport-size photograph, digitally scanned signature, and an identity (Aadhaar Card).
Step 8. Then, candidates will be given options for the examination center. They need to choose the most appropriate one to appear for the examination.
Step 9. Submit the CAT 2025 application form and pay the application fee.
