The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is set to conduct its BSc Nursing and MSc entrance examinations today, June 21, 2025, across multiple centers in India. Thousands of medical aspirants will be appearing for the highly competitive exams. These entrance exams will serve as gateways to some of the most prestigious undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programs in the country.
The AIIMS entrance exams are among the most competitive in India, offering limited seats to the most deserving candidates. These programs make the way for careers in clinical practice, research, and academia.
AIIMS BSc and MSc Entrance Exam Overview
Both exams will be held on the same day in separate shifts. The BSc Nursing exam will assess candidates on subjects such as Nursing Foundations, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Community Health Nursing. The MSc entrance exam will cover disciplines including MSc Nursing, MSc Biotechnology, and other allied health sciences.
Candidates must report to their designated exam centers at least 90 minutes before the scheduled time, carrying their admit card and a valid photo ID. AIIMS has also announced its guidelines related to the exam, such as electronic gadgets, calculators, and study materials are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. COVID-19 safety protocols, including mask-wearing and social distancing, will remain in effect.

AIIMS BSc and MSc Nursing Admission Process
For BSc Nursing, candidates who qualify in Stge I will proceed to Stage II, which includes a Personnel Assessment involving interviews and document verification. For MSc programs, results will be declared on the same day as the BSc Nursing, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for online counseling.
The counseling process for both programs will include mock rounds, followed by first and second rounds, and an open round if seats remain vacant. Candidates must upload all required documents, such as academic certificates, ID proof, and category certificates, during the counseling process.
