West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has released the counselling schedule for the WBJEE exam on its official site. The counselling process is scheduled to start from 28 August 2025, with the seat matrix releasing on 27 August 2025. The result of the WBJEE exam was declared earlier on 22 August 2025, after the exams were held on 27 April 2025.

According to the official notification, the WBJEE 2025 counselling will start on 28 August 2025 and students who have passed the exam can register online at the official website. They will also be required to pay a fee and fill in their college choices on the counselling portal. The last date to lock choices for the candidates is 1 September 2025, after which the first round of seat allotment will be declared on 3 September 2025. Students who are satisfied with their seat allotment must pay the seat acceptance fee and upload their necessary documents on the website.

The result of the second round of seat allotment will be out on 9 September 2025 and the students will have to follow the same steps again. If seats are still left, then there may be a mop-up round for them. Students should carefully check the seat matrix before choosing colleges, as it will define their future. It is important to follow the schedule and complete each step on time, as missing any step can lead to cancellation of the seat.
