The NEET PG Counselling 2025 round 2 is starting soon. Students who missed the first chance to secure their medical seat can now register again. In addition to this, students looking forward to an upgrade from Round 1 will have the opportunity to do so. The results for the NEET PG Counselling Round 1 are expected to be released in November 2025. Upon the declaration of the first counselling round results in November, the second round is expected to begin in the third week of December. Following the result, the candidates will be able to access the selected candidates’ provisional list for MS, DNB, and MD.

The registration for the NEET PG Counselling Round 2 will commence from the third week of December and will continue for a week. Candidates must note that the payments for the same can be made until 3:00 PM on the last day. Following the registration day, the process for choice filling will begin on the next day, with the locking starting at 4:00 PM and closing by 11:55 PM. The seat allotment process will begin in the fourth week of December, with the results to be declared on the third day of the process.

NEET PG Round 2 Seat Allocation Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the NEET PG Round 2 are as follows:

  • All the fresh candidates who didn’t register for the first round can register for the second round and participate in the seat allocation. 

  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in the first round become automatically eligible for the second round. 

  • Candidates who want to upgrade to better options after Round 1 allocation are eligible to participate in Round 2.

Candidates must note that they are not required to register again if they already registered for the first round. However, for those who resigned and did not register, the second round is another opportunity. 

After the publishing of the Round 2 seat allocation, candidates must report to the allotted medical college along with all the required documents.
