Human Resource Development Division at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has opened multiple internship slots for B.Tech, BE, M.Tech, ME, MSc, Integrated MSc/MTech, BS, MS, and PhD students. Indian nationals studying science and technology streams that are compatible with the Department of Space (DoS) and ISRO activities will be allowed access. The eligible students should sign up and apply through the portal of VSSC by registration. Interested candidates can apply before the last date by March 16, 2026.
As per the official statement, candidates must have secured 60 per cent marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10. The internship programme is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students of recognised institutions in India or abroad whether they are pursuing full-time on-campus courses or have passed out their degrees no more than six months before. PhD candidates are expected to have completed their coursework.
Eligibility Criteria for Applying VSSC Internship
As mentioned in the VSSC internship guideline, the project assignment for BTech/BE students involves team fo two to four member of same branch, semester, and institute. A solo submission are not be considered. To apply for the VSSC internship program applicant must meet the following eligibility:

Project Duration and Stipend Details
VSSC clarifies that internships will be in non-sensitive areas of VSSC/ISRO only and that no stipend or financial assistance will be provided. The duration of the internship will be from 21 to 45 days.
The centre also states that selection will be based on the existing infrastructure and due to the very high number of applications, not everyone will be selected. It advises applicants to have alternative plans. Documents such as mark sheets, skill certificates, and records of past projects may be combined into a single PDF file of no more than 5 MB.
