The NBE has released the results of NEET PG 2025 today (19 August 2025). The candidates who were waiting for the result declaration can now visit the official website of the NBEMS and log in there to view their score cards.
NEET PG is considered very important for medical graduates in India as it helps students get admission into postgraduate courses like MD, MS, and diploma programs. The exam is conducted once a year and this year it was held on 3 August 2025. The syllabus of it includes subjects from MBBS like anatomy, physiology, pathology, and more. The exam pattern of the exam included multiple-choice questions with negative marking. Candidates were required to register online and choose their exam centre. After the exam, results are set to be declared today with the counselling process to begin shortly. Seats for the students are allotted based on the rank, category, and preference chosen by them.
Step 2- On the website look out for NEET PG 2025 Result in the notifications section present on the homepage.
Step 3- Log in to the account by clicking on the link and entering the roll number, registration ID, date of birth, and password.
Step 4- Once logged in the result and scorecard will appear on the screen.
Step 5- Download the scorecard and save a copy of it for future counselling process.
Step 6- Also take a printout of the scorecard as it may be used for the admission process.

NEET PG 2025 Result: Know About The Counselling Eligibility
The NEET PG 2025 result determines eligibility for admission into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses across India. Candidates who appeared for the exam on 3 August 2025 and secured the minimum qualifying percentile will be considered for admission. The minimum percentile for the General and EWS categories, the cutoff is around 50 percentile, while SC/ST/OBC candidates need to score at least the 40 percentile, and PwD candidates in the UR category must meet the 45 percentile benchmark. Over 2.42 lakh candidates took the test this year, competing for approximately 42717 postgraduate medical seats nationwide. Admission is granted based on merit rank, category-wise cutoffs, and performance in the counselling rounds conducted by MCC and state authorities. Only those who meet the cutoff and complete the counselling process will secure a seat in their desired specialisation.
