The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will close the online application window for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 today (21 August 2025). This is the last opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in the banking sector as a Clerk in one of the participating public sector banks. The IBPS Clerk 2025 notification announced more than 10000 vacancies across various states and union territories. IBPS Clerk 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for IBPS Clerk 2025 must meet the following requirements-

  • Educational Qualification- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Proficiency in the local language of the state/UT applied for is mandatory.

  • Age Limit- Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on the specified cut-off date. Age relaxation applies to SC/ST, OBC, PwD, and other reserved categories.

IBPS Clerk 2025 Selection Process

The recruitment process for IBPS Clerk 2025 will be conducted in two phases:

  • Phase 1- Preliminary Examination: It consists of a test which covers English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

  • Phase 2- Main Examination: It consists of a test that includes General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Candidates who qualify for the Mains Exam will be provisionally allotted to participating banks based on merit and preference. Unlike SBI Clerk recruitment, there is no interview stage for IBPS Clerk posts.

How to Apply for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025?

Step 1- Applicants looking to give the IBPS clerk exam are required to visit the official site https://www.ibps.in/ 

Step 2- Once on the portal click on the CRP Clerks-XV Recruitment 2025 tab.

Step 3- They are required to register using a valid email ID and phone number to generate login credentials.

Step 4- Once registered, fill in the application form with personal, academic, and communication details.

Step 5- They will be asked to upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and required documents.

Step 6- Pay the prescribed application fee via net banking, debit, or credit card.

Step 7- Submit the form and download the confirmation for future use.

What Happens After The Closing of the Application Window?

Once the IBPS Clerk 2025 application window closes today, the process moves to the next stage.  IBPS will check all the submitted forms to make sure they are complete and correct. They will then release the admit card a few days before the scheduled start of the exam and these admit cards are usually available on the official IBPS website. Candidates need to download them and check the details like exam date, time, and venue, and if they find any discrepancy they will have to contact the IBPS and make them correct as soon as possible.
