DU UG Admission 2025: CSAS Round 2 Seat Acceptance Window Open; Direct Link Here

Delhi University (DU) has officially declared the second CSAS allocation on its official website on July 28, 2025 (5:00 PM). If candidates get a seat in this round, they will be given an option to accept the seat from July 28, 5:00 PM. They can accept their allocated seats till July 30, 2025, 4:59 PM.  DU has already shared a list of vacant seats on July 24, and students could then change their preferred courses and colleges. This option to re-order preferences got closed on July 25, 2025. Candidates who are waiting for the second list of allotted seats, it will be out on July 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

In the first round, over 72,000 students accepted their seats. But more than 43,000 students chose to "upgrade." This means that they hoped for a better course or college in the next rounds. These students, along with those who didn't get a seat in the first round, were able to change their preferences for this second list.

There were many empty seats left in the top colleges and popular courses. These include colleges like Hindu College, Miranda House, Kirori Mal College, and Sri Ram College of Commerce. Therefore, the second round gives a great chance for students who want to get into these colleges and programs.

All the affiliated colleges of the Delhi University (DU) that were participating in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admissions into undergraduate courses will start verifying all the applications received by them. After the candidates have accepted the allocated seats, the colleges will proceed with the document verification process starting from July 28, 2025 (Monday) and will go on till July 31, 2025 (Thursday).

Steps To Accept The Allocated Seats

Step 1: Candidates looking to accept the allocated seats will have to visit the official website of CSAS, http://admission.uod.ac.in 

Step 2: They will have to log in to the portal by entering their application number, password, and security captcha.

Step 3: On the candidate portal, look for the seat allocation result and find the tab for accepting the seat. 

Step 4: Click on the acceptance tab to confirm their seats in one of the colleges of the DU.

What’s after the 2nd Round Seat Allocations?

After accepting the seats allotted to the candidates, the college will verify and approve all online applications. Once the college has verified the candidate will have to pay the online fees in order to confirm the admission. It is advised that students should always check the official DU admissions website: admission.uod.ac.in and look for updates and check their application status. It's very important to accept their seat, get their documents checked, and pay fees on time. Also, candidates must keep in mind that DU might announce more admission rounds later if there are still empty seats.
