Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the online application process for its Undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) courses for this academic year. This comes after the CUET-UG 2025 results were declared.

According to the official notice, the last date to apply is 15th July, 2025, by 11:50 PM. Following the close of application, the university will provide two days for a correction period from 16th to 17th July, 2025. Candidates who are interested can apply through JNU’s admission website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in, by using their CUET-UG 2025 application number and date of birth for login. JNU has clearly stated that only candidates who appeared for CUET-UG 2025 are eligible to apply for these courses.

Candidates can check JNU’s e-prospectus for detailed information about the admission process, eligibility criteria, and the available seats. The e-prospectus is available on both the admission portal and the main university website, www.jnu.ac.in 

JNU has advised all the candidates to carefully read the admission guidelines and eligibility criteria before applying. They should also keep visiting the official website for the latest updates or changes.

  • Click on the given link for UG and COP admission 2025.

  • Sign up by using your personal details and CUET 2025 information.

  • Fill out the application form and upload all the required documents.

  • Pay the application fee and submit your application form.

  • For your future use, save the confirmation details.

Meanwhile, members of the JNU Students Union (JNUSU) have entered the 12th day of their hunger strike as of Tuesday. They are protesting to demand an automatic extension of hostel stay for research scholars who received an academic extension to finish their PhDs.

JNUSU is strongly against the new rule introduced by the university, which asks students to sign a declaration form if they want to stay in the hostel beyond their original PhD deadline.

This year a total number of 13,54,699 applicants registered for the CUET-UG exam. Out of them, 6,47,934 were female, 7,06,735 were male candidates, and five identified as the third gender. Among all the registered candidates, 10,71,735 actually appeared for the examination, including 5,23,988 females, 5,47,744 males, and three third-gender candidates.
