CLAT Registration 2026: Application Starts Today for UG and PG Course, Know the Details Here

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) has officially released the notification regarding the CLAT 2026 exam schedule. According to the notification, the registrations begin from today, that is dated, 1st August 2025. Candidates will be able to apply for CLAT 2025 till 31st October 2025, which is the deadline for registration. All the details associated with CLAT 2026, including CLAT eligibility requirements, application start and end dates, and exam dates, are being released by the NLU in their official notification. 

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted on a national level, and it is for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) and other law schools in India.

How To Fill Out The CLAT 2026 Application Window?

Refer to the following guide to complete the CLAT 2026 registration process:

Step 1: To register online for the upcoming CLAT 2026 Exam, open consortiumofnlus.ac.in Link.

Step 2: The registration window will be open. Create a new account by entering basic details like name, email ID, and phone number.

Step 3: After creating the account, log in again with your login details and fill out the CLAT 2026 application form.

Step 4: Upload the required documents as specified, such as a recent passport-size photo and other documents.

Step 5: Applicants will be required to pay the CLAT 2026 application fee.

Step 6: After reviewing all the details, submit the CLAT registration form.

Note:- The CLAT 2026 application fee will be different based on the candidate’s category. The application fee for the General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates is expected to be set at INR 4,000, and for SC/ST/BPL candidates, it will be INR 3,500.

• Scanned signature of the candidate

• Category certificate (if applicable)
