SLAT 2026 Registration Updates: Application Form to be Released in August 2025

The Symbiosis Deemed University is expected to begin the application process for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test from the third week of August through its official website. The university will be organising the SLAT 2026 in two stages from December onwards. Candidates will have to submit their respective applications for either one or both phases of the SLAT 2026. 

After qualifying for the SLAT exam, candidates can get admission to BA LLB integrated courses in any of the four Symbiosis Law Colleges. The SLAT will be conducted across 77 test centres throughout the nation in an online format. The main entrance carries around seventy percent weightage, and the personal interview round carries around thirty percent weightage of the admission criteria.

SLAT 2026 Application Process

The aspirants of the SLAT 2026 can follow this process and apply for the SLAT 2026 once the application forms are officially released on the SLAT website.

Step 1: Go to the official SLAT 2026 website and click on the registration link.
Step 2: After reading all the instructions carefully, click Continue to agree with all the Terms and Conditions.
Step 3: Enter the required information in the prefixed format.
Step 4: Click Save & Continue. Fill out the OTP sent to the mobile number and email address provided at the time of registration.
Step 5: Fill out the received OTP and submit it.
Step 6: Once the registration is successful, the candidate will receive an email and SMS with the SLAT ID and password. Use this SLAT ID for all future use related to the SLAT 2026 exam and admission process.
Step 7: Pay the registration fee of INR 2250 for the SLAT exam with applicable government taxes. Kindly note that the fee is non-transferable and non-refundable as per the instructions on the Registration Portal.
Step 8: For any queries, log in with the SLAT ID, click on Raise A Query, and generate a ticket. Submitting a ticket is necessary for your issue to be addressed.
Step 9: The payment options available for the programme registration fee are the same as those for the SLAT exam fee.
Step 10: Candidates must maintain a valid and unique email address and mobile number throughout the admission process.
Step 11: Ensure all information entered in the registration form is accurate and matches the official credentials.
Step 12: Complete the online registration at www.slat-test.org by the last week of November. Note: No changes will be allowed after the registration deadline under any circumstances.
Step 13: Please be aware that if any submitted information is found to be false or incorrect, the University reserves the right to cancel your candidature.
