The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, has started the TS POLYCET 2026 application forms for students who wish to pursue diploma courses in engineering, agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and related fields. The online application for the entrance test started on February 2, 2026, at the official website of SBTET Telangana Polytechnic.
Those candidates who have completed their Class 10/SSC or its equivalent will be eligible to apply. Registration without a late fee will close on April 20, 2026, and applicants will have sufficient time to submit their forms. The TS POLYCET entrance test will be held on May 13, 2026, and it will be an offline test at different centres in Telangana.
How to Apply for TS POLYCET 2026
Candidates need to go to the official TS POLYCET website and fill in the online application form by providing their personal details, academic records, and necessary documents. Applicants should upload a recent passport-sized photograph and signature according to the specifications given.
Step 2 - Click on the Register option, it will populate the registration window.
Step 3 - Fill in all the fields and register yourself to get a registration number.
Step 4 - Log in to the portal using your registration number and password.
Step 5 - Fill out the application form and pay the registration fee.
TS POLYCET 2026 Important Dates and Registration Fees
The regular application period will be available until April 20, 2026. Those who wish to submit their applications after the deadline may still do so by paying a late fee of Rs 100 on April 21 and a tatkal fee of Rs 300 on April 22, 2026. The entrance test will be conducted on May 13, 2026, in paper-based (offline) mode at the specified examination centres.

Eligibility Criteria for TS POLYCET 2026
The following are the eligibility criteria for the TS POLYCET 2026 Entrance Exam:
Candidates are required to pass the SSC (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board
They must score a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate to be eligible.
Both regular pass and compartment candidates can apply.
The examination is for candidates willing to take three-year diploma courses in engineering and other related fields at government, government-aided, and private polytechnic institutions all over Telangana.
TS POLYCET 2026 Exam Structure
The examination for TS POLYCET 2026 will last 2 hours and 30 minutes and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The total number of questions in the paper will be around 150. Candidates will not be penalised for choosing the wrong answer and one mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
After the exam, SBTET will issue an answer key and result and then counselling to allocate seats will take place.
