TS PGECET 2026 Registration Open: Apply Online Now at pgecet.tsche.ac.in

The registration for the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) or TG PGECET 2026 is officially open from February 27, 2026. Students who wish to pursue a postgraduate course in engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture in the state of Telangana may register through the official website. The registration is the first step towards one of the most competitive entrance exams in the state. Students are advised to fill out the application form well in time to avoid last-minute technical problems.

The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JNTU on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam is held for the following courses-

• M.E. and  M.Tech

• M.Pharm

• M.Arch

• Graduate level Pharm-D

TS PGECET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Indian citizens with domicile in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• Age Limit: No specific upper age limit, but candidates must hold a valid undergraduate degree.

How to Apply Online

Step 1- Application Fee Payment

• The first step is to click on “Application Fee Payment.” The link for it is https://pgecet.tgche.ac.in/ 

• The next step is to pay the application fee through online modes such as credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.

• The transaction details can be saved for future use.

Step 2- Fill Application Form

• The next step is to click on “Fill Application Form.” The application form can be filled after a successful transaction.

• The personal details that need to be filled are name, date of birth, and contact details.

• The academic details and course preferences are also required.

• The photograph and signature need to be uploaded as per the specified format.

Step 3- Know Your Payment Status

• The option “Know Your Payment Status” can be clicked to know if the application fee has been successfully paid.

• This step ensures that there are no issues with filling up the application form.

Step 4- Know Your Registration Number

• The option “Know Your Registration Number” can be clicked if required.

• The registration number is important for future use.

Step 5- Print Your Filled-In Application Form

• Once you submit the form, click on the option that says “Print Your Filled-In Application Form.”

Step 6- Correction in Application Form

• In case you make any mistakes while filling out the application form, click on the option that says “Correction in Application Form.”

TS PGECET Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: Computer-based test (CBT).

• Duration: 2 hours.

• Type of Questions: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

• Total Marks: 120.

• Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, no negative marking.
