The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the seat allotment result for the Round 3 counselling. Candidates who have registered for the counselling can check the seat allotment result from the official website using their login credentials, which are their application number and password. Candidates who secure seats for admission to well-reputed IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs must complete the online reporting process, which includes SAF payment, seat confirmation, document upload, and verification by July 8.
Now, candidates can download their individual seat allotment letters, and candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted institute or branch can choose options of Freeze, Float, or Slide. Apart from this, candidates can also check the opening and closing ranks for admission to different universities across India on the official JoSAA portal. The cutoffs will be released after the seat allotment results, and candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for the latest updates.
Step 2: Now, click on the link for seat allotment provided under the candidate activity section on the homepage.
Step 3: The JoSAA login page will appear.
Step 4: Candidates are required to enter their JEE Main application number and password here.
Step 5: After completing the login, candidates can view the seat allotment result.
Step 6: Check the assigned college and course.
Step 7: Download and save the PDF of the result for future reference.
Steps to check Opening and Closing Ranks
After the JoSAA Counselling Round 3 Seat Allotment Results, candidates can also check the opening and closing ranks for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. Candidates can refer to the steps provided below to check the ranks to avoid any kind of last-minute mistakes and hassle.
Step 1: Again, visit the official portal of JoSAA.
Step 2: Now access the “eservices” tab.
Step 3: Select the link of opening rank and the closing rank.
Step 4: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Enter details like JoSAA round, type of institute, name of the institute, academic program, and type/category of seat.
Step 6: After entering all the details, click on submit and check the OR-CR based on the preferences.
