The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has again extended the last date for CAP registration for the MH CET Law 2026 3-year LLB. Candidates who have not registered themselves for the MH CET Law 2026 counselling form are requested to visit the official website of the counselling portal to fill out the registration form. The last date for registration has been extended till July 13th 2026. Earlier, the last date to complete the registration process was 8th July 2026.
All candidates from Maharashtra and those from outside Maharashtra are requested to fill out the counselling form by the last date to avoid any last-minute hassle.
Students who have appeared in the MH CET Law examination for the year 2026 are only eligible to register for the counselling session, Centralised Admission Process (CAP), for the current academic session. The counselling session is also conducted for students to finalise admissions to the 5-year LLB program. For the 5-year LLB program, candidates are advised to hurry up and complete the registration process for the counselling session by 9th July 2026, today.
Steps to Apply for the MH CET Law Counselling Session 2026
Students interested and eligible to continue the registration process can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the counselling session:
Step 1: Candidates are guided to visit the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org
Step 2: Complete the registration process by filling out all the required and mandatory details.
Step 3: Candidates are required to upload all the necessary documents.
Step 4: Candidates are then required to select the college of their choice.
Step 5: To complete the process, they have to pay the registration fee.
Step 6: After fee payment, candidates are advised to save and download the receipt for future reference.
List of Documents Required for the Counselling Registration
To carry out the counselling registration process, candidates need to keep the below-mentioned documents handy for the upload and verification process:
- Passing certificate of class 10th and 12th
- Marksheets of graduation
- Scorecard of MH CET Law 2026
- For students belonging to the reserved category, uploading a caste certificate is a must.
- Students also have to upload passport-size photographs.
- Domicile certificate, if needed
- EWS certificate, if applicable
- A valid identity proof, like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and more.
- Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of their signature.
