Why It Matters for Students

SSC Chairman S. Gopalakrishnan said the reforms are to ensure equal opportunity for all students. The new rules will help avoid unfair comparisons and make the process transparent. For many aspirants, SSC CGL is one of the most important exams, as it opens the door to jobs in top government departments like CBI, CBDT, Intelligence, Customs, and Ministries.

With nearly 20 lakh applications this year, the competition will be tough, but students can feel relieved that the exam process will now be fairer and student-friendly.
