The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, which is also known as NHPC, has officially announced its recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications for 248 non-executive positions. This includes vacancies for Junior Engineers in various disciplines, Assistant Rajbhasha Officers, Senior Accountants, IT Supervisors, and Hindi Translators. The recruitment notification was published on NHPC’s official website, and eligible candidates can apply online from 2 September to 1 October 2025. NHPC is a premier hydropower company under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. 

Note:- Interested candidates must apply for the post before the given date or else they won’t be able to apply, once the date exceeds.

Eligibility Criteria For NHPC Recruitment 2025

Candidates must hold the required educational qualifications for each post:

• Junior Engineers: Full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD)

• Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject

• Senior Accountant: Intermediate CA/CMA or B.Com with MBA (Finance)

• Other posts require specific qualifications as detailed in the official notification

The maximum age limit is 30 years as of 1 October 2025. Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories such as ST, SC, and OBC as per government norms.

Candidates must apply online through NHPC’s official website www.nhpcindia.com. The application process includes registration, filling out the form, uploading documents, and fee payment. Here is the simple roadmap to help the candidates fill out the form seamlessly: 

Step 1: Search for the NHPC Recruitment Portal.

Step 2: Click on the Career portal, which stands in the first position only. Here is a direct link to the website given.

Step 3: Scroll down to the Search Job section, there on the top, you will find the Recruitment For Non Executive Post Tab. On the right side, Click on Apply Now.

Step 4: Then, You will be navigated to the external new page automatically.

Step 5: On the Page, you will find the register and log in option on the extreme right side.

Step 6: Firstly, register by filling in the required information, and get your registered details such as User ID and password. 

Step 7: Now, using the same details, log in and submit the form by clicking on the submit button. 

Step 8: Remember to save the application form and even get it printed for safekeeping. 

Selection Process For NHPC Recruitment 2025

The selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification. The CBT will assess candidates on technical knowledge, general awareness, reasoning, and aptitude. Shortlisted candidates will be called to NHPC’s Corporate Office in Faridabad for biometric verification and document checks.
