The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has scheduled the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination for the year 2025 to be conducted between August 13 and 30. Registered candidates can download their admit cards 4 to 5 days prior to the main examination. The announcement has been made amid ongoing protests by aspirants. In addition to this, the SSC CGL Tier 1 application status is now active on the official website. Candidates whose applications have been accepted can check their status. 

The admit cards for the exam, similar to the pattern followed for other government exams, will be made available 4 to 5 days before the main exam. Students can now check all the details like city intimation, exam dates, and shift details on the new official portal, ssc.gov.in. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be administering the Tier 1 CGL exam between August 13 and August 30, 2025.

How to Navigate the SSC Website for the Latest CGL Updates

  • Visit the official website of SSC CGL at ssc.gov.in 

  • Registered candidates can log in with their SSC OTR and password

  • Navigate the exam dashboard

  • Click the SSC CGL 2025 exam box 

  • The Admission Certificate link will be displayed

  • Upon clicking the link, the candidates will see a list of SSC exams 

  • Click the SSC CGL exam from the list and pick the year 2025

  • Candidates will now be able to see the exam date, exam shift, and examination city

All the registered candidates are hereby informed that the admit cards for the exam will be made available online 4 to 5 days before the exam. The Tier 1 exam will be conducted in several shifts, and for the latest information, candidates must keep track of the official website.
