The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially released the City Intimation Slip for the IB ACIO Grade II/Executive Recruitment 2025. This is an important update for all candidates who have applied for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade II/Executive post in the Intelligence Bureau (IB). Now, the candidates can get to know their exam centre and plan everything accordingly. This slip helps candidates plan their travel and stay in advance.
The City Intimation Slip informs candidates of the location of their exam centre. It includes the name of the exam city, State, Shift timing and the Reporting time. This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,717 vacancies for the ACIO Grade II/Executive post. Given the high number of applicants, competition is expected to be tough.
Note that it is not the admit card, but a preliminary document to help with logistics.
IB AICO Grade II Executive Post 2025 Exam Dates
The Tier I exam will be held on:
September 16, 17, and 18, 2025
The exam will be conducted in three shifts each day in different timings:
Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Reporting at 7:30 AM)
Shift 2: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (Reporting at 10:30 AM)
Shift 3: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Reporting at 1:30 PM)
How to Download the IB AICO Grade II Executive Post 2025 City Intimation Slip
Every detail about the exam and more will be available on the official website itself. Candidates can check their exam city by simply following these 5 to 6 steps. This includes:
Step 1: Visit the official website: mha.gov.in. Upon opening, you will come across something like this.
Step 2: On the above, go to the services tab, then find the Online Validation Slip part and Click It.
Step 3: It will ask you permission to navigate you to a new page. Tap on ok button to proceed.
Step 4: Here, click on the MHA validation Slip Option.
Step 5: Fill in all the details that have been asked for in the form carefully with correct data. And submit.
Step 6: Now, finally download and check your city.
Alternatively, the MHA has also sent the city details to candidates’ registered email IDs.

The Admit Card will be released around 4 days before the exam, expected by September 13, 2025.
