Xavier’s University is set to launch four specialized disciplines from the Academic Year 2026, giving a list of options to willing students to choose from. The total intake of these courses is around 240 seats.
Interested students will have to qualify the Bengal JEE-Mains or JEE Mains or the entrance test conducted by the university to take admission in the B.Tech courses. The university will be providing programmes in computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, and computer science and engineering.
B.Tech Courses Eligibility Criteria
To apply for admission, candidates need to visit the university’s official website for the registration process, and to be eligible for admission, they must have passed class 12th or equivalent (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) with 60% aggregate marks and must provide the scores of any one of the above-mentioned entrance exams. Admission notification will be published by the university on its website, most probably in March 2026.
Existing Programs Offered by the University
The University is already providing the Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in Statistics and Data Science, which is now followed by the B.Tech courses launched by the university. These courses are in addition to the advanced courses offered by the university in fields of AI, CS, and Data Science.
