AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling Begins: Check Steps to Register, Documents Required & More Details

The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) commenced the registration process for AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling on 24th June 2026. Candidates who have secured the minimum aggregate marks in the AP POLYCET 2026 examination are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The AP POLYCET 2026 counselling process includes registration, document verification, choice filling for courses and colleges, fee payment, and seat allotment. 

To participate in the counselling process, applicants must complete the registration process, certificate verification, and fee payment through the official website by June 30, 2026.  Apart from this, the physical verification of documents will begin from 25th June 2026 to 1st July 2026 in the designated centres, and it is necessary for the applicants to have documents ready with them to avoid any kind of delay. 

Additionally, Seats will be allotted based on several factors, including a candidate's rank, category, preferred choices, and seat availability. Candidates who are seeking admission in the diploma and polytechnic courses in the government-aided educational institutions across Andhra Pradesh need to participate in the counselling process for seat allocation in their preferred colleges.

How to Complete the Registration for AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling? 

The process for completing the registration for AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling is easy and student-friendly. Eligible candidates are only required to visit the official website to register themselves for the counselling. Candidates can also follow the steps given below to complete the registration.

Step 1: Access the official website https://polycet.ap.gov.in/DefaultPage.aspx. 

Step 2: Now, click on the link "Online Certificates Verification & Fee Payment". 

Step 3: After that, start the registration process and enter all the details like AP POLYCET Hall Ticket Number, Rank, and Aadhaar Number. 

Step 4: Verify the registration form and submit. 

Step 5: Upload all the required documents, pay the registration fee online through net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 6: After the successful payment, save and download the registration form. 

AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling Fees

At the time of registration for AP POLYCET 2026 Counselling, candidates need to pay a non-refundable and one-time registration fee, which varies for the different categories. The counselling fee for the AP POLYCET 2026 is as follows. 

Documents Required for Certificate Verification

At the time of certificate verification, applicants must have all the documents ready with them. The list of documents required for verification is as follows. 

• POLYCET Hall ticket

• AP POLYCET Rank Card

• Candidate Aadhaar Card

• SSC or Equivalent marks memo

• Study/Bonafide Certificate (from Class 4th to 10th)

• Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)

• Income certificate issued on or after 01.01.2023 for claiming tuition fee reimbursement

• PWD/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games/Scouts and Guides Certificates (if applicable)

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate (validity year 2026-2027, only for OC Candidates if applicable)

• Transfer Certificate

• Residence Certificate in case of Non-Local Candidate.

After completion of registration and verification, candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses through the web options system. The option entry process will begin from 29th June 2026 and will continue till 3rd July 2026. Also, applicants will get a one-day option editing Facility on 4th July 2026. Students should carefully select their choices, as seat allotment will be based on rank, reservation category, and the options entered during counselling. The seat allotment will start from 6th July 2026 in online mode.
