Janki Devi Vocational Centre admission is open for the academic year 2025-26. Janki Devi Vocational Centre provides various diplomas and certificate courses in diverse fields like diploma in fashion design, apparel merchandise, textile designing, fine art, computer, art and craft, nursery teacher training, library science and interior designing and many more.

Admission for JDVC courses started on 1 May 2025. The classes for the morning batch started from  15th July 2025, and the classes for the afternoon batch will start from 10th October 2025. The students interested in pursuing these courses from Janki Devi Vocational Centre should have a minimum eligibility of completion of Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum qualifying marks. 

The fee structure for the above courses varies from one course to another. The approximate fee for the above-mentioned diploma courses is INR 20,000 to INR 45,000, and the approximate fee for the certificate courses is from INR 1100 to INR 50,000, depending on the duration and the specialisation of the course it will vary. For the certificate courses, an admission fee of INR 150 has to be paid for every course and for diploma courses, an admission fee of INR 1500 is required to be paid.

JDVC offers short-term certificate courses in computer, social media marketing, art, craft, home science, fashion/ apparel manufacturing, textile designing, and teaching skill courses, among many others.  Fashion designs, computer, office management, interior designing, fine art, stenography, nursery teacher training and library science, among many other courses, are covered under the Janki Devi Vocational Centre. 

The students who are interested in pursuing Diploma and Short Term courses are required to have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board.  

Janki Devi Vocational Centre offers its programs with the main motive of making its students job-ready. These courses are job-oriented to the specific industry the student wants to pursue. These courses are designed to give young girls hands-on training and a practical skillset to ready them professionally.  Janki Devi Vocational Centre also has tie-ups with various companies for placement and internship opportunities for the students. The students who are extremely bright or meritorious are allowed to go to other reputed companies for placement training. 

Janki Devi Vocational Centre also organises various other events for students to get exposure, like workshops, networking events, fashion shows, and exhibition shows.

Janki Devi Vocational Centre provides concessions to the students who are financially weak and handicapped. Students who are already in the 1st or 2nd year of DU receive a 10% discount on their first year diploma or certificate fee. For the remaining years of 2nd and 3rd, students will have to pay the full amount. Siblings studying in Janki Devi Vocational Centre will also get a 10% discount for the first year of the course being pursued at Janki Devi Vocational Centre, but this discount is only applicable to one sister. 

Students who want to avail these concessions or discounts have to submit the income proof certificate in case of availing the concession under the poor and needy. Students who want to avail the discount under the DU students will have to submit their DU ID card along with the admission form, and students availing the real sister discount will have to submit the ration card or the parents' ID proof at the time of admission.
