Indian Institute of Management Rohtak courses offer a variety of programmes for graduates, working professionals, and researchers.  IIM Rohtak has a total of 8 courses with different specialisations like MBA, IPM, IPL, MMS, etc. There are two integrated programs such as the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and the Integrated Programme in Law (IPL). The IPM gives students a BBA after three years and an MBA after five years. The IPL leads to a combined (BBA-LLB) degree, blending business management with legal education and internships, and is approved by the Bar Council of India.

Students must have a minimum CGPA of 5.0 at the end of the third year to continue and complete the last two years of the IIM Rohtak course programme and earn a master's degree. If a student's CGPA is below 5.0 but not less than 4.0, they will receive a BBA degree and will leave the course. Also, if any student wants to leave the course after finishing all requirements by the end of the third year, they can choose to exit by informing the office on time and will be awarded a BBA degree.

• Eligibility:  

  • SC, ST, and DAP Category: Minimum 55% in 10th Grade/ SSC  and in 12th Grade 

  • General, NC-OBC, and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in 10th Grade/ SSC and 12th Grade/ HSC or equivalent examination.

IIM Rohtak IPM Programme Curriculum 

IIM Rohtak courses offer an Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) that consists of 15 terms over 5 years, with each year divided into three three-month trimesters. The curriculum combines business administration and legal training, covering international, comparative, foreign, and domestic law.

The curriculum comprises four core areas: Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, and Humanities. Additional courses are offered, including Business Communication, Management Information Systems, Business, and Foreign Languages. The courses taught at the graduate level (4th and 5th year) are the same as those in the PGP programme. Students take courses in mathematics, economics, statistics, humanities, business administration, international relations, public policy, and foreign languages. 

• Years 1-3:  Students learn the basics of various subjects in these years.  

  • Subjects like microeconomics, probability, and statistics include topics such as game theory, optimisation, econometrics, macroeconomics, the Indian economy, international trade, and mathematical modelling, helping students improve their analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Fundamentals of Research Methods, Sociology, Philosophy, and Bank Management: Students learn about human behaviour, society, business, government, and management principles to understand the core ideas behind management.

  • Community Mental Health, Technology Trends in Business, and Business Taxes: Students study languages (English, French, Spanish, German), communication and presentation skills, and participate in dance, music, and drama activities to gain wider perspectives. 

  • Years 4-5: Students join the Post Graduate programme (PGP) batch and pursue the same management courses. During these two years, the main objectives were.

  • Internships: The IIM Rohtak focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.

The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak PGP program in its first year provides students with a strong foundation in all key management areas. It includes a mandatory Rural Engagement Program (REP) after the first term exams, worth 0.5 credits. 

In the second year, students take three compulsory simulation-based courses and choose electives in subjects like Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, Human Resources, and Marketing. Test Score:

IIM Rohtak Executive Post Graduate Programme (PGPx) accepts multiple entrance test scores for admission. Applicants can provide a valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or GATE score. If a candidate does not have any of these scores, they must take the IIM Rohtak PGPx Entrance Test (also called IIMR-PAT). 

IIM Rohtak PGPx Course Curriculum 

The IIM Rohtak Executive Post Graduate Programme (PGPx) course curriculum covers key management topics across three terms, including Financial Reporting & Analysis, Marketing, Economics, Operations, Human Resource Management, Data Analytics, Strategic Management, Business Ethics, and Organisational Behaviour. IIM Rohtak's course offers a Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) which is a full-time, four-year residential Ph.D. program. Comprehensive Exam

The Comprehensive Exam for the DPM course at IIM Rohtak is taken after completing coursework and tests the student's knowledge and research readiness in their specialisation. Passing this exam allows the student to move on to the research stage, where they focus on their dissertation. The exam ensures they are prepared for independent research and academic contributions in management. 

Candidates with a Master's Degree or candidates with M.Phil. or candidates with Master's Degree with a thesis in the relevant discipline may directly appear for the 

Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to be conducted by IIM Rohtak for shortlisting.

• Research Aptitude Test (RAT) 

IIM Rohtak RAT will test candidates on quantitative ability, verbal ability and research aptitude. 

Financial Assistance 

The students of the DPM will be given a stipend as mentioned below: 

(a) Stipend of INR 45,000/- per month in the first and second years

(b) Stipend of INR 50,000 per month for the third and fourth years (after clearing the comprehensive examination)

In addition to this, a merit scholarship (subject to satisfactory performance) of INR 10,000 per month in the second year and INR 15,000 per month in the third and fourth years is given to the deserving participants. 

• Contingency Grant 

All the participants will receive a contingency grant of INR 2,50,000 distributed across four years of the programme.  

IIM Rohtak offers the Master of Management Studies (MMS). This course is specially made for working professionals who want to lead their organisation with great success. It is a 2 year course. It aims to transform administrative leaders into strategic management thinkers who help in critical decision-making by exposing them to topical issues in management. 

Master of Management Studies (MMS) is a Degree programme offered in a hybrid format, with online and on-campus features, where all students engage with the IIM Rohtak learning ecosystem in many ways. The programme aims to upgrade skills for critical thinking, leadership roles, and improved organisational efficiency through exposure to management principles.
