Re-NEET UG 2026: Result Latest Updates; NTA Likely to Publish Scorecard by July 20

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the Re NEET Result 2026 on or before 20 July 2026. The Re NEET 2026 exam was successfully conducted on 21 June 2026. Although the NTA has not yet announced the official Re Neet result date 2026 but a senior official said that the evaluation process is being completed on priority basis to announce the NEET 2026 re-exam result. 

The NTA has already released the Re NEET Answer key 2026 on 25 June 2026 and students were asked to raise objections against the answers they find to be incorrect. The deadline to raise objections against the Provisional Answer key was 28 June 2026. NTA is currently reviewing thousands of objections received against the provisional answer key before releasing the final answer key and preparing the NEET Re exam result 2026. Re-NEET 2026 Results: What Candidates Should Do Next?

After the declaration of the NEET UG 2026 Re Exam result, candidates can download and check their scorecards. The result will be declared online on the official NTA NEET website and students can check their result by logging in with their application number and password. The scorecard will contain important details such as subject-wise marks secured by the candidate, total marks percentile, All India Rank (AIR), qualifying status and category rank. The final answer key is expected to be released along with or a few days before the results.

After the Re NEET Result 2026 is announced, the NEET 2026 counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical courses will begin. Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling and further seat allotment process.

NEET UG 2026 Counselling Process: Schedule, Quota Details and Admission Steps

The NEET UG 2026 counselling process will begin after the declaration of the result. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), AIIMS, JIPMER, central universities and deemed universities, and the remaining 85% state quota seats counselling will be done by the respective state authorities.

Candidates will have to register online, pay the counselling fee and fill in their choice of colleges and courses. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of NEET rank, category, reservation rules, preferences and availability of seats. After getting the seat, the candidates have to report to the allotted college for admission and document verification.

The Counselling will be conducted in various rounds such as Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. The academic session of MBBS is likely to commence as per schedule. However, the NEET 2026 counselling schedule is yet to be officially declared.
