The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to submit the bank details online for the refund of registration fees (for the NEET entrance exam conducted on 3rd May 2026) to 7th July 2026. Earlier, the registration fee refund window was scheduled to close on June 30. Candidates who want to get the refund for the registration fees can confirm, correct, or update their bank account details till the extended last date from the official website using their login credentials.
Applicants who have appeared for the NEET entrance exam on 3rd May 2026 are only eligible to get the refund of their registration fees. Candidates must ensure that the bank account details provided are accurate to avoid delays in processing the refund. Further, NTA has also advised the applicants to complete the verification within the revised deadline, as no further extension is expected.
In addition to this, NTA has also released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, and candidates who are waiting for the final answer key and results should check the official website regularly for the latest updates. Also, the final answer key for the Re-NEET 2026 is expected to be announced soon after experts review all the objections submitted against the provisional key.

How to Update, Confirm, and Correct Bank Details?
Candidates who missed the earlier deadline and want to correct their bank account details for the NEET UG 2026 registration fee refund, update the details before 7th July 2026. To update or verify the details, candidates can follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official NTA NEET website, which is https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Step 2: Now, on the homepage, access the "Candidate Activity" section and click on "Confirm/Update Bank Account Details." Step 3: Complete the login using Application Number and Password. Also, enter the OTP for verification. Step 4: Verify the bank details carefully, update them if required, and click on "Confirm Bank Details" to save them. Step 5: Upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or the first page of a bank passbook showing your account number and IFSC code. Step 6: Review the information and click "Submit" to complete the process.
Bank Account Verification Options Available after Login
After completing the login to the NEET UG 2026, candidates will be able to view the bank account details linked to their application. Based on their information, they can choose from the following options:
If the displayed bank details are correct: If the bank account details are correct candidatesonly need to tick the confirmation checkbox to verify that the account number and IFSC code are accurate. The registration fee refund will be credited to the same bank account.
If the bank details need to be changed or have not been added earlier: Applicants who want to change their bank account details or update any details can enter new details through the portal. Applicants must also upload the required supporting documents before submitting the request.
If the candidate does not wish to receive the refund: In case any applicant does not want their refund, they can just choose the "No Refund" option. Once this option is selected, the NTA will not process any refund for that candidate. Also, candidates who have selected No Refund by mistake can also change their choice.
