President's and Merit Scholarships

The University of Waterloo automatically considers incoming students for President's and Merit Scholarships based on their admission averages. These awards recognise strong academic performance and do not require a separate application. Financial Aid  for International Students

University of Waterloo scholarships provided through financial assistance through financial aid. Full-time international students may be eligible for financial aid of up to CAD 2,000(INR 1,90,000) based on demonstrated financial need after their first year of study. 

International Work-Study Program

The university also offers on-campus employment opportunities through its International Work-Study Program. Students have an option to earn extra money by working part-time on campus. At the University of Waterloo, students are allowed to earn up to CAD 2,000(INR 1,90,000) per academic semester.

Co-op Earnings as Financial Support
