Mumbai University Admissions 2025: First Merit List For UG Courses To Be Released Today

The Mumbai University is set to release the seat allotment result of students who have applied for admission into various undergraduate courses, today 27 May 2025 on https://mu.ac.in/.
Applicants who have applied for admissions into Mumbai University can check the first merit list on the official website, mu.ac.in. This year, over 8.1 lakh applications were received by the university from students seeking admission into various courses. About 3.80 lakh applicants have applied for commerce and its related branches, offered by the university and its affiliated colleges, and less than 50,000 applications were received for the BA courses.
Step 3: Log in to the portal with their details, like registration number and password.
Step 4: View the result displayed on the portal and download it for future reference.
What To Do After the Release Of the Merit List
Students who got selected will have to complete the document verification process by 30 May 2025. They should carry original documents along with photocopies, including 12th marksheet, category certificate (if applicable), transfer certificate, passport size photograph and identity proof. The second merit list of the selected candidates is expected to be released by 31 May 2025, a few days after the release of the first merit list. The candidates will further have the option of upgrading or finalising the allotted seats.
