The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has officially announced the schedule for the AILET 2026 exam. This exam is important for admission to NLU Delhi’s BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD in Law programmes for the academic year 2026-27. The AILET 2026 registration will start from August 1, 2025. Interested students can apply through the official website at www.nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

AILET is the only entrance exam to secure admission at NLU Delhi. The following are the courses offered through AILET 2026:
BA LLB (Hons.) – 5-year integrated undergraduate law programme
LLM – 1-year postgraduate law programme
PhD in Law – Doctoral research programme

Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board
Minimum Marks: 45% (General); 40% (SC/ST/PwD)
Foreign Nationals: 65% in 10+2 or equivalent
Appearing Candidates: Eligible, but must submit proof of qualification at counselling
LLM
Qualification: 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a recognised university
Minimum Marks: 50% (General); 45% (SC/ST/PwD)
Appearing Candidates: Eligible, but must submit proof of qualification at counselling
PhD
LLM degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD)
