The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has started the online registration process for BSc and BTech Agriculture Admissions 2026 for the academic session 2026-27 on 10 July 2026. Eligible candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate agriculture and allied courses can now submit their applications through the official admission portal. The last date to complete the Maharashtra CET Registration 2026 process is 25 July 2026.
The admission process is open for various agriculture-related programmes offered by agricultural universities and their affiliated colleges across Maharashtra. MHT CET Cell 2026: Agriculture Courses Offered and Seat Availability
The admission process is carried out by the MHT CET cell for giving admissions to several agriculture courses in Maharashtra. This includes four-year undergraduate programmes such as BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc), Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Business Management and other agriculture-related courses. Applications have also been invited for BTech programmes in Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology.
As per the official notification, these professional degree courses are offered under nine faculties across four agricultural universities in Maharashtra. For the 2026 academic session, a total of 17,586 seats are available for first-year admissions across 195 agricultural colleges in the state.
MHT CET Cell Agriculture Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria and selection process for Maharashtra CET Agriculture Admissions 2026 will depend on the course selected by the candidate. Applicants must fulfil the required academic qualifications and keep the necessary documents ready before applying.
For getting admission to the BTech Agricultural Engineering will be based on the prescribed entrance examination criteria. For most other undergraduate agriculture programmes, candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid MHT CET, JEE or NEET scores, as applicable for the chosen course.

The Maharashtra CET Cell has informed candidates that only the registration schedule has been announced for now. The complete admission timetable will be released after the declaration of the NEET 2026 results.
The detailed schedule will include important stages of the admission process, such as the release of the provisional merit list, submission of online grievances, publication of the final merit list, announcement of available seats, seat allotment rounds, centralised admission rounds, college-level admissions, institute-level admission process and other related activities.
