The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun the online application process for SSC CGL 2025, with the notification released yesterday. Candidates who want to apply for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025, can check the official website for the detailed notification. Moreover, candidates can apply for various posts, including Group B Gazetted/Group B Non-Gazetted, and Group C posts in different ministries, departments, government organisations, and various constitutional bodies, statutory bodies, and tribunals etc.

What is the SSC CGL exam?

SSC CGL is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission(SSC) to shortlist candidates for several Group B & C posts in various ministries, departments, and government organisations in India. SSC conducts the exam in four stages called tiers. Tier I and Tier II exams of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) will be online. Candidates need a graduate degree as a basic qualification to apply for the exam.

The Tier I question paper will contain objective-type and multiple-choice and all the questions will be in English & Hindi, except for English comprehension. Moreover, the tier I examination will consist of 100 questions, and the maximum marks are 200. The exam will be for 1 hour, and there will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

Candidates who want to apply for these posts should follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the login link and enter the required registration details.

Step 3: Once the candidates have completed the registration, log in to the account.

Step 4: Fill in the application form and pay the fees. 

Step 5: Once the candidate pays the fee, they should click on submit and download the confirmation page.
