The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the registration process for CSIR NET 2025 on 3 June 2025. Interested applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria can now register themselves for the exam on the official website of CSIR NET. The registration window opened on 3 June 2025, and the last date to fill out the application form is 23 June 2025. Candidates are required to fill out the application form and upload all of the necessary documents before the due date. Students can pay the application fee till 24 June 2025. Steps to apply for CSIR NET 2025
Step 1. Visit the official CSIR NET 2025 website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on “CSIR NET 2025 registration.”
Step 3. Register by using a valid email ID, phone number, etc.
Step 4. Enter the required information and upload the necessary documents. (e.g., passport-size photo, signature, marksheets, government-issued ID)
Step 5. Submit the form and pay the application fee (using net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI)
CSIR NET 2025 Correction Window
The correction window for the CSIR NET 2025 June session will open on 25 June and will close on 26 June 2025. Candidates who filled in incorrect information or uploaded the wrong document can rectify it. But the 26 June candidate’s application will get frozen, and information can't be changed or updated.
CSIR NET 2025 Exam
The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) is conducted twice a year to select candidates for lectureship or assistant professor positions in various Indian universities. According to NTA, CSIR NET is set to be conducted from 26 to 28 July 2025. Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks scored (reserved categories get relaxation), and the frequency of the examination is twice a year.
