According to the SSC Chairman, from June 2025, the entire application form can be completed through a single mobile application, ‘mySSC’.
Aspirants can now apply for the recruitment test conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) through an updated mobile app developed by them. According to SSC, it will be a great help for rural aspirants as there won't be any need to go to a specific computer centre or cyber cafes for filling the application form.
The mobile application developed for SSC by Cubastion Consulting is expected to be highly beneficial for candidates, enhancing their experience throughout the entire application form-filling process. Previously, many candidates depended on common service centres and cyber cafes to submit their application forms, often incurring extra costs.
The advanced and innovative application seeks to improve interaction with the SSC to create a better experience for candidates. More so, with India's digital expansion comes more trustworthy platforms, so by using biometric identity verification integrated with Aadhaar-enabled services, the initiative is making mass recruitment more transparent, safe, and easier to access for candidates from both rural and urban areas.
As conveyed by the SSC Chairman, with the introduction of the mySSC app, applicants can now complete the entire process, from registration to application, directly on their mobile devices. This eliminates private intermediaries, giving candidates full control over their applications. Our long-term goal is to transform this app into a comprehensive solution for the entire recruitment process.
Earlier, candidates could apply online through the Commission’s website and use the mySSC mobile app to capture a live photo, as stated in an SSC-issued notice, but starting June 2025, the entire application process will be seamlessly integrated within the app,” the notice dated June 2, 2025, confirmed.
