RRB Technician 2025 Application Form Released on 28 June 2025: Check How To Apply And Key Details Here

The Railway Recruitment Board started the application process for the technician posts for the 2025-26 session on 28 June 2025. Candidates have a month to fill out the application, as the deadline is set on 28 July, 2025. According to the official reports, there are a total of 6,238 vacancies open. The last date to pay the application form fee is July 30, 2025. There will also be an opportunity to modify the application form between a window of 1-10 August, 2025. 

Candidates who are interested in applying can do so by visiting the official RRB website. Out of the total vacancies, 6,055 posts are for Technician Grade III, while the rest (183) are for Technician Grade I Signal.

Given below is a list of documents that the interested candidates must upload to complete the application process:

• A recent passport-size photograph

• Scan of candidate’s signature

• Government-issued photo ID (Adhaar, PAN card, etc.)

• Category certificate (if applicable)

How To Apply For The RRB Technician Posts?

Candidates must follow the instructions given below to complete the application process:

Step 1: Visit the official RRB website - rrbapply.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the apply button of either ‘Technician Grade I signal’ or ‘Technician Grade III.’

Step 3: Create an account by providing details like name, parents’ details, date of birth, contact number, email, etc.

Step 4: Log in and fill out the form by providing the required details.

Step 5: Upload the scanned copies of documents.

Step 6: Pay the application form fee, which is INR 500 for general, OBC, and EWS candidates. While for SC, ST, and female candidates, it's INR 250.

Step 7: Submit the form and keep the acknowledgement page downloaded

Note: Those candidates who have already created an account for any CEN issued by RRB are not required to create an account again

To meet the eligibility requirements for the Technician Grade I Signal, candidates must be between the age of 18 and 33 years old (as of July 1, 2025). The age requirement for Technician Grade III is between 18 and 30 years.
