NEET UG 2025 Challenge Window Opens: Check Details and Raise Objections in Answer Key

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2025 exam on 3 June 2025. Candidates can access and download the NEET UG 2025 answer key, along with their scanned OMR sheets and recorded responses, from the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who find any discrepancy or error in the provisional answer key can raise objections from 3 June to 5 June 2025  by paying the online fee of INR 200/per question. Also, any challenges that are submitted without payment or through any other mode will not be accepted as per NTA guidelines.

How to Download NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key and Raise Objections

The following are the simple steps to raise an objection and challenge the NEET UG answer key:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA at neet.nta.nic.in. 

Step 2: Tap on the NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key or the challenge window option.

Step 3: Now, log in using your credentials, including the Application Number and Date of Birth.

Step 4: View and download the provisional answer key, OMR sheet, and recorded responses.

Step 5: Carefully check the answers and responses against your own.

Step 6: If you find any discrepancy, submit your objection(s) online by selecting the question(s) and providing valid supporting evidence.

Step 7: Pay the non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question challenged via the available online payment methods.

Step 8: Submit your objections before the deadline.

What’s Next?

After raising objections and challenging the NEET UG 2025 provisional answer key, the next steps are as follows:

• Objection Review by Expert Committee: Once the objection window closes on 5 June 2025, the NTA will review all the challenges submitted by candidates. An expert panel of subject specialists in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will scrutinize the objections and the supporting evidence provided.

• Final Answer Key Release: Based on the valid objections accepted by the expert committee, the NTA will revise the provisional answer key and release the final answer key. Candidates will not be individually informed about the acceptance or rejection of their specific objections; they must check the final answer key themselves to see if their challenged questions were modified or dropped.

• Result Declaration: The NEET UG 2025 results will be prepared using the final answer key. The results, along with the All India Rank list, are expected to be announced by 14 June 2025.

• Counselling and Admission Process: After the declaration of results, the counselling process for admission to UG medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, and allied health programs is expected to start in July/August. Candidates should stay updated on official notifications regarding counselling schedules and procedures to secure admission in medical colleges across India.
